El to the Aye

I found myself back in Los Angeles due to some personal reasons. I am making the best out of this temporary move home by taking on some projects. One big one is to completely redecorate my room. I started by stalking craigslist for some new furniture. I found the IKEA cabinet in yellow, that I have been wanting for about a year now for super cheap and this great adorable desk.

It was a nice green color but the paint was chipping and there were some bumps and bruises that needed mending. I sanded all the imperfections and picked up this great color called Coral Bliss from the hardware store.

I am not done yet but here is what I started with. I wish I took a photo before I primed but oh well.







I am just about done painting and will post the completed desk then.
