When I look at something and I want to explode because of how cute it
is; that's my inspiration. A motto of mine is "If you look at my work
and don't get a cavity from how cute it is, I didn't do my job."
I studied art at UC Berkeley and worked with and around artists for 4
and a half years. After the passing of my mother I moved back to LA and
started making jewelry. What started as a way to pass time and cope,
blossomed into something more magical.
Giving the 1970s shrinky dink a modern spin, I design the pieces in
Illustrator, then print (or in some cases draw) onto the special paper,
meticulously cut out the designs and then bake. After coming out the
oven, they take their final form as jewelry.
