This was the design that I did for the trunk show at Leanna Lin's Wonderland. Fun!
Mind you this is free-handed. No stencils or decals here.

Nail Art: Roses
This is a design that I have been wanting to do for quite a bit but never had the proper colors to execute it. Until now...
It turned out to be easier that I thought you just need a stead hand, especially when it came time to do the right hand.

Unique LA: Local Love Event | Day One
Today was the first Valentine's Day show for Unicorn Crafts. I went into this show with the mentality that it won't be crazy busy like the holidays, so just go with the flow.
That being said, it was a great day one. It was half the size of most Unique LA shows which was nice for the vendors (less people waiting for elevators) and for shoppers (not SO overwhelming).
It was great to catch up with some of my buddies whom I usually only get to see at shows (since we are all always busy prepping for the next show).
As per usual, I had to paint my nails fancy for the show. I wanted to do something festive without being extra literal for Vday.
I hope I get to walk around a bit more tomorrow to show you some of my favorite vendors. Looking forward to day two.

Jella from Honey My Heart came by my booth and snapped this photo.

Nail Art: Fall
Fall is in the air. Here is a fun way to dress up your nails for the change in season.
It's suuuuuper easy to do. My sister just showed me this youtube page and there are a bunch of great tutorials. I wish I knew about this a little sooner. Some of my designs have shortcuts that I never thought of, teehee.
If you end up trying some out, make sure to show me how it comes out!
Go crazy!

Nail Art: Free Handed
It's been awhile since I posted a Nail Art but here is one nonetheless.
I think a nail pen would be perfect for designs like this, so as soon as I can, I will be adding that to my artillery.

nail art: stamping
my friend gave me a nail stamping kit by konad that i tried out today. you basically apply polish onto the design you want to use, pick it up on this stamp and then stamp it back onto your nail.
it turned out pretty neat!

nail art: wild

i went back to the animal kingdom for some inspiration.

Nail Art: Swan Eggs
when i was younger my mum used to tell me the weird half circle at the bottom of my nail was a swan egg. i believed it even though i had no idea how that could be possible. but alas, i pay tribute to my mum confusing me with today's nail art.

Nail Art: Yikes, Stripes!

I went to Target with my sister yesterday and found some fun stuff.
The base color is by Sally Hansen called Commander in Chic. It's a complete salon manicure in a bottle.
The zebra stripes were added using an ultra thin brush made by Kiss. You can use the stencils that come with this three colored set or just free hand it like I did.
Any idears on what I should do next?

Nail Art

This is sort of a late post but I still wanted to share this great find!
I went to a wedding this past weekend and I wanted something funky accessory-wise. I ended up at Sephora where I found adorable nail decor. It's called Chic Print for Nails by OPI.
They were kinda more than I would have liked to pay but a lot cheaper than going to a nail place. It was pretty easy to put them on and the good part is that I only used half the prints, so there is enough for a second coming!
I ended up having a lot of nail conversations that weekend. I felt like such a girl!
