diy: a new friend!

i've been on a sewing kick so i decided to try a stuffed animal next. granted i have never sewed a toy before but hey, why not give it a go?

i was worried halfway through that it wouldn't turn out but at the end of the day PATCHES was here!

i picked some lemons from my backyard. so many lovely lemons.

i took myself on a little hike yesterday just to clear my head. just me and my instax.

diy: rose pillowcase

i felt like making something so i checked online for some pillowcase tutorials and found one that tickled my fancy. then headed to jo-ann fabrics to grab some supplies.

this took some steady hands but i was happy with it.

i just got my shipment of film! cannot wait to shoot!

for those not in the know, fuji makes a camera that shoots instant credit card sized photographs that are just sooooo much fun. it's super easy to get carried away but i mean come on...they are instant tiny photos!

things that are tiny are usually more fun to play with.

halloween deja vu

best day of the year!

hi guys and dolls...happy halloween!

this is my favorite day of the entire year. i wait patiently for this fabulous day to roll around each and every year.

with less than half an hour remaining i am a bit sad but tonight was great. i took my cousin trick-or-treating and picked up a few pieces of candy myself. yes that's right, i still go trick-or-treating. you're never too old for fun.

we dressed up and painted the town red...blood red if you will. i was a brain thirsty zombie and managed to scare a few souls here and there. (photos are on their way, just gotta get them off my sister's phone).

with this halloween almost behind me...i gotta start thinking about next year's costume.

back from hiatus

after a short hiatus i have decided to come back with a bang...and a whole new website.
